Apprentice Naturalist-River Guide
- Type: Seasonal, full-season
- Note: Job Filled Apprenticeship is offered mid March through late April (6 weeks) followed by continued employment as entry level Naturalist-Guide through contract season (end of October) with a 10 day furlough/break in July.

Naturalist River/Land Tour Guide
- Type: Permanent, full-season
- Note: Job Filled We continually accept guest guide resumes for both land based and river programs.
- Description: Professional guide with experience and Utah river guide license. During our season there are 3 weeks non paid furlough (2 weeks are scheduled July 17-31, 1 other week personal leave at your request and depending on work priorities.) This position is for those with previous CFI experience and current licenses. During the summer break you can visit family, hike in the mountains or do guest guide work locally in Moab.
Guest river guides should not apply unless they have a current Utah River Guide license, current medical certificates and be familiar with CFI stretches of river. Guest land tour guides should be well versed as "generalists" about the Colorado Plateau with expertise in one area: desert ecology, cultural history/anthropology or public lands issues and have current medical certificates. Our field season runs late March through end of October.
