  • The Friends of Arches and Canyonlands Parks, in partnership with Canyonlands Field Institute, is celebrating Canyonlands National Park’s 50th anniversary this year with the first annual Bates Wilson Youth Camp, Labor Day Weekend, Saturday August 30th through Monday September 1st in the Needles District of Canyonlands National Park. We are inviting students entering grades 9 through 12 with interests in national parks, conservation, outdoor education, geology, cultural history, public policy, or careers in the National Park Service or other public land agencies, but especially students who love learning in nature and having fun!

Sunset Tour of Arches National Park

  • During the sunset tour of Arches National Park, enjoy the magic light of Arches while taking in some of Utah's most famous natural wonders. Join us for this popular van tour with a CFI Naturalist-Guide and learn about the park's history and environment through short hikes to a variety of famous arches. Includes Delicate Arch Overlook and the Windows area or other locations depending on your interest and abilities. We will conduct the trip for one person or up to 10 people in our group.
