Range Creek Utah archaeology trip is a rare opportunity to see and learn about prehistory and pioneer settlement in this remote canyon in the Book Cliffs of Eastern Utah. Our CFI seminar format extending over two and half days allows for in depth learning and a chance to enjoy higher elevation camping. Dr. Kevin Jones is our lead guest scholar this year and he will be joined by archaeologist and educator, Ms. Jamie Hollingsworth. The focus will be on Archaic and Fremont prehistoric lifeways, the relatively recent official "discovery" of Range Creek that was long protected under private ownership. Faculty will highlight ongoing academic research and applications.
