Join CFI, Sheri Griffith Expeditions, Hawkwatch International and the Moab Bird Club on this amazing day!
Float down a mild and scenic stretch of the Colorado River this February for a chance to see wintering bald eagles in a wilderness setting. Along the way there will be opportunities to learn about bird identification from Hawkwatch International staff and our local Moab Bird Club. Participants initially meet "at the take out" at the Ranger Station and CFI will transport to the launch point at Loma.
There is an optional Moab early morning start (6:15 a.m. and late evening return by 7:00 p.m. traveling with a CFI van; please notify our CFI office 7 days prior to the trip if you wish to travel one or both ways with CFI van.)
