School Field Camp and River Program – Two Nights

Our two-day program option offers a fun land and river educational adventure. Great for a brief school getaway to Moab!

School Field Camp and River Program – Two Nights:

Arrive day one, then day two features riparian creek hike/study activities and a Service Project. Day three features a half day rafting trip on the Fisher Towers stretch of the Colorado River with Class I-II rapids. Depart from take-out about 4pm.

Day 1 — Arrive 3pm  Welcome, Dinner, Night Sky Program

Day 2 — Breakfast, Creek Nature Activities, Lunch, Service Project, Dinner, Camp Fire Program

Day 3 — Breakfast, Colorado River Trip with lunch, depart from takeout about 4pm.

  • Where: Professor Valley Field Camp and the Colorado River
  • What months available: Spring and Fall, either Friday through Sunday, Monday through Wednesday, or Wednesday through Friday only. The RIVER DAY is day 3; your group will depart for home from the river take out.
  • Number of Days/Nights: Two Nights
  • Time: 3pm Day One through 4pm Last Day
  • Group Size: 15 minimum; 60 youth maximum
  • Age Group: Middle, High School, and College Students
  • Cost per Person: $300 based on minimum of 15 paid fees.
  • Notes:

    For groups with over 40 participants, the Colorado River portion of the program will be divided into two groups.

    One chaperone is required per twelve students. Each required chaperone receives a %50 discount. Additional chaperones are full fee.
